Instead of spending money on a large carton of all whites. (We recently joined Costco) We decided to take full advantage of Costco's eggs. Yes, you read that correctly! In order to make our own egg whites for poached eggs it takes 2 eggs' whites. If we went with just dozen, and 2 of us are eating it the egg carton would be gone in 3 meals. (12/2/2 = 3) Since we cook regularly with eggs for other recipes we decided to buy Costco's 7 dozen eggs! We got some funny stares when carrying them into our condo. :)
We also got an egg white separator at B^3 for $1.99. Just look for it along the wall of all the cooking utensils.
We used our AB Egg Muffins and substituted Canadian bacon with turkey sausage. Making our own egg whites hands down beats any egg white brand!
